Dr. ZHAI Shixian received her Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment in 2019 from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). She was a joint Ph.D. candidate between NUIST and Harvard University before she worked as a postdoc and then as a research associate at Harvard University from 2019 to 2023. Starting in May 2023, Dr. ZHAI works as a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Environment and Sustainability at HKUST and is concurrently a Junior Fellow in the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study. Dr. ZHAI\u2019s research includes atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, and nutrient and carbon cycles.

\u7fdf\u4e16\u8ce2\u535a\u58eb\u65bc2019\u5e74\u53d6\u5f97\u5357\u4eac\u4fe1\u606f\u5de5\u7a0b\u5927\u5b78\uff08NUIST\uff09\u5927\u6c23\u7269\u7406\u8207\u5927\u6c23\u74b0\u5883\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\u3002\u535a\u58eb\u671f\u9593\uff0c\u5979\u70ba\u5357\u4eac\u4fe1\u606f\u5de5\u7a0b\u5927\u5b78\u8207\u54c8\u4f5b\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u96d9\u806f\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u3002\u53d6\u5f97\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\u5f8c\uff0c\u66fe\u65bc\u54c8\u4f5b\u5927\u5b78\u64d4\u4efb\u535a\u58eb\u5f8c\u7814\u7a76\u54e1\u53ca\u7814\u7a76\u52a9\u7406\u3002\u81ea2023\u5e745\u6708\u8d77\uff0c\u7fdf\u535a\u58eb\u4efb\u8077\u65bc\u9999\u6e2f\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78\uff08HKUST\uff09\u74b0\u5883\u53ca\u53ef\u6301\u7e8c\u767c\u5c55\u5b78\u90e8\uff0c\u64d4\u4efb\u7814\u7a76\u52a9\u7406\u6559\u6388\uff0c\u4e26\u540c\u6642\u70ba\u9999\u6e2f\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78\u8cfd\u99ac\u6703\u9ad8\u7b49\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u521d\u7d1a\u7814\u7a76\u54e1\u3002\u7fdf\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u7bc4\u7587\u5305\u542b\u5927\u6c23\u5316\u5b78\u3001\u7a7a\u6c23\u6c59\u67d3\u4ee5\u53ca\u71df\u990a\u5faa\u74b0\u548c\u78b3\u5faa\u74b0\u3002
