Prof. Cora Lai is an Associate Professor in the School of Biomedical Sciences, The University of Hong Kong. She obtained her bachelor and doctoral degrees at HKU. She later joined the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine in the Langone NYU Medical Center for postdoctoral training. Her key research interest is in how memory affects behavior, ranging from synaptic plasticity with learning and memory, the role of sleep-in emotional learning, fear conditioning and extinction, amongst other topics.
She has been working on intravital imaging of the mouse central nervous system in learning and memory, particularly in studying synaptic plasticity in fear associative learning and different psychiatric disease animal models with dendritic spine pathology.

\u8cf4\u79c0\u82b8\u535a\u58eb\u4efb\u8077\u65bc\u9999\u6e2f\u5927\u5b78\u751f\u7269\u91ab\u5b78\u5b78\u9662\uff0c\u64d4\u4efb\u526f\u6559\u6388\u4e00\u8077\u3002\u5979\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u5927\u5b78\u5b8c\u6210\u5979\u7684\u5b78\u58eb\u53ca\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\u3002\u800c\u5f8c\u5979\u52a0\u5165\u7f8e\u570b\u7d10\u7d04\u5927\u5b78\u6717\u683c\u5c3c\u91ab\u5b78\u4e2d\u5fc3\u5e95\u4e0b\u7684\u65af\u514b\u535a\u751f\u7269\u5206\u5b50\u91ab\u5b78\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u9032\u884c\u535a\u58eb\u5f8c\u7814\u7a76\u8a13\u7df4\u3002\u5979\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u8208\u8da3\u5728\u8a18\u61b6\u5982\u4f55\u5f71\u97ff\u884c\u70ba\uff0c\u63a2\u8a0e\u5305\u62ec\u5b78\u7fd2\u8207\u8a18\u61b6\u4e2d\u7684\u7a81\u89f8\u53ef\u5851\u6027\u3001\u7761\u7720\u5728\u60c5\u7dd2\u5b78\u7fd2\u4e2d\u6240\u626e\u6f14\u7684\u89d2\u8272\u3001\u6050\u61fc\u5236\u7d04\u8207\u6d88\u9000\u7b49\u591a\u9805\u9818\u57df\u3002\u5979\u4e00\u76f4\u81f4\u529b\u7814\u7a76\u8001\u9f20\u4e2d\u6a1e\u795e\u7d93\u7cfb\u7d71\u5728\u5b78\u7fd2\u8207\u8a18\u61b6\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u7684\u6d3b\u9ad4\u6210\u50cf\uff0c\u7279\u5225\u5c08\u6ce8\u65bc\u63a2\u8a0e\u6050\u61fc\u806f\u7d50\u5b78\u7fd2\u4e2d\u7684\u7a81\u89f8\u5851\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5177\u6709\u6a39\u7a81\u68d8\u75c5\u7406\u7279\u5fb5\u7684\u7cbe\u795e\u75be\u75c5\u52d5\u7269\u6a21\u578b\u3002
