I use the spectacular phenomenon of gravitational lensing to probe the dark cosmos: dark energy, dark matter and supermassive black holes. I also work on the extremely bright side of the Universe in observing splendid cosmic fireworks from supernovae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have led the H0LiCOW program that measured the expansion rate of our Universe using gravitationally lensed quasars. With the support from the European Research Council through a Consolidator Grant, I am launching a new program on lensed supernovae: HOLISMOKES!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My research has been featured in the National Geographic, the New York Times, the Guardian and other magazines and newspapers.

\u8607\u6e38\u7444\u6559\u6388\u9818\u5c0e\u4e86H0LiCOW\u8a08\u5283\uff0c\u8a72\u8a08\u5283\u4f7f\u7528\u5f15\u529b\u900f\u93e1\u985e\u661f\u9ad4\u6e2c\u91cf\u4e86\u6211\u5011\u5b87\u5b99\u7684\u64f4\u5f35\u901f\u7387\u3002\u5728\u6b50\u6d32\u7814\u7a76\u59d4\u54e1\u6703\u901a\u904e\u7d9c\u5408\u88dc\u52a9\u91d1\u7684\u652f\u6301\u4e0b\uff0c\u5979\u6b63\u5728\u555f\u52d5\u4e00\u500b\u95dc\u65bc\u900f\u93e1\u8d85\u65b0\u661f\u7684\u65b0\u8a08\u5283\uff1aHOLISMOKES\uff01<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5979\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5df2\u7d93\u5728\u570b\u5bb6\u5730\u7406\u96dc\u8a8c\u3001\u7d10\u7d04\u6642\u5831\u3001\u885b\u5831\u4ee5\u53ca\u5176\u4ed6\u96dc\u8a8c\u548c\u5831\u7d19\u4e0a\u4eae\u76f8\u3002
