Introduction \/\u00a0\u7c21\u4ecb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Denise Wu received a PhD degree in Cognitive Psychology (specialized in Cognitive Neuroscience) from Rice University in the U.S. in 2003. After working in the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S. as a post-doctoral researcher between 2003 and 2005, Dr. Wu became the faculty of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at National Central University in Taiwan and has worked in this institute since. She is the Director of the Joint Research Centre for Language and Human Complexity at the University System of Taiwan since 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Denise Wu has always been passionate about understanding human nature and been particularly intrigued by the complexity of human cognition. She has acquired extensive experience and expertise in employing converging methods to address issues concerning the relationship between the brain and behaviors. Specifically, she has conducted behavioral, neuropsychological (patient-based), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and neurophysiological (ERPs and MEG) studies to explore linguistic and numerical processing in the brain and how it affects human behaviors. Her recent research concentrates on investigations of the characteristics of statistical learning, and its contribution to language processing and acquisition. In addition, she starts to explore the neuronal underpinnings of aesthetic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Denise Wu devotes herself not only to the research on cognitive neuroscience but also to the promotion of scientific knowledge to the society, especially to the education community. Dr. Wu is one of the founding members and currently the chairperson of the Taiwan Society of Cognitive Neuroscience. She is also an associate editor of Journal of Neurolinguistics\u3001Frontiers of Psychology: Language Sciences\u3001Current Directions in Psychological Science. Dr. Wu has received the Junior Research Investigators Award from Academia Sinica (2012) and the Taiwan Outstanding Young Female Scientist Award from Wu Chien-Shiung Education Foundation (2014). She is also elected as a Young Affiliate of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS) in 2014, and as a Fellow of the Psychonomic Society in 2015 and of the Association for Psychological Science in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5433\u5afb\u6559\u6388\u65bc2003\u5e74\u5728\u7f8e\u570b\u840a\u65af\u5927\u5b78\uff08Rice University\uff09\u7372\u5f97\u8a8d\u77e5\u5fc3\u7406\u5b78\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\uff0c\u5c08\u653b\u8a8d\u77e5\u795e\u7d93\u79d1\u5b78\u3002\u81ea2003\u5e74\u81f32005\u5e74\u9593\uff0c\u5979\u5728\u7f8e\u570b\u8cd3\u5915\u6cd5\u5c3c\u4e9e\u5927\u5b78\uff08University of Pennsylvania\uff09\u7684\u8a8d\u77e5\u795e\u7d93\u79d1\u5b78\u4e2d\u5fc3\u548c\u795e\u7d93\u5b78\u7cfb\u64d4\u4efb\u535a\u58eb\u5f8c\u7814\u7a76\u54e1\u30022005\u5e74\u5f8c\uff0c\u5433\u6559\u6388\u6210\u70ba\u53f0\u7063\u570b\u7acb\u4e2d\u592e\u5927\u5b78\u8a8d\u77e5\u795e\u7d93\u79d1\u5b78\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u7684\u6559\u8077\u54e1\uff0c\u4e26\u81ea\u6b64\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u8a72\u6240\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u81ea2014\u5e74\u8d77\uff0c\u5979\u64d4\u4efb\u81fa\u7063\u806f\u5408\u5927\u5b78\u7cfb\u7d71\u8a9e\u8a00\u8207\u4eba\u985e\u8907\u96dc\u7cfb\u7d71\u806f\u5408\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5433\u6559\u6388\u4e00\u76f4\u5c0d\u7406\u89e3\u4eba\u985e\u672c\u6027\u5145\u6eff\u71b1\u60c5\uff0c\u7279\u5225\u662f\u5c0d\u4eba\u985e\u8a8d\u77e5\u7684\u8907\u96dc\u6027\u611f\u5230\u8457\u8ff7\u3002\u5979\u5728\u904b\u7528\u591a\u7a2e\u65b9\u6cd5\u63a2\u8a0e\u5927\u8166\u8207\u884c\u70ba\u4e4b\u9593\u95dc\u4fc2\u7684\u554f\u984c\u4e0a\u7a4d\u7d2f\u4e86\u8c50\u5bcc\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\u548c\u5c08\u696d\u77e5\u8b58\u3002\u5177\u9ad4\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u5979\u9032\u884c\u4e86\u884c\u70ba\u5b78\u3001\u795e\u7d93\u5fc3\u7406\u5b78\uff08\u57fa\u65bc\u75c5\u4f8b\u7684\u7814\u7a76\uff09\u3001\u529f\u80fd\u6027\u78c1\u5171\u632f\u6210\u50cf\uff08fMRI\uff09\u3001\u4ee5\u53ca\u795e\u7d93\u751f\u7406\u5b78\uff08ERPs\u548cMEG\uff09\u7684\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u63a2\u7d22\u8a9e\u8a00\u548c\u6578\u5b57\u8655\u7406\u5728\u5927\u8166\u4e2d\u7684\u904b\u4f5c\u65b9\u5f0f\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5b83\u5982\u4f55\u5f71\u97ff\u4eba\u985e\u884c\u70ba\u3002\u5979\u8fd1\u671f\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u96c6\u4e2d\u5728\u8abf\u67e5\u7d71\u8a08\u5b78\u7fd2\u7684\u7279\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5b83\u5c0d\u8a9e\u8a00\u8655\u7406\u548c\u7fd2\u5f97\u7684\u8ca2\u737b\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u5979\u958b\u59cb\u63a2\u7d22\u7f8e\u5b78\u9ad4\u9a57\u7684\u795e\u7d93\u57fa\u790e\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
