Siqin (Sisi) Wang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor (Teaching) of Spatial Sciences with the Spatial Sciences Institute in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Wang\u2019s research interests are in GIScience, spatiotemporal big data analytics, computational social science, digital health geography, human-centered GeoAI, human mobility and migration, smart cities and human-climate interactions and she publishes extensively in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was named one of 50 Rising Stars by Geospatial World in 2024. Her co-first author 2021 paper on human mobility and COVID-19 transmission received the 2022 Best Paper Award and Most Downloaded Paper from the Annals of GIS in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her professional roles include service as the Associated Chair for the Spatial Data Lab affiliated with Harvard University and as Vice Chair of the Young Scientist Innovation Network for Digital Earth of the International Society for Digital Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining the USC Spatial Sciences Institute, Dr. Wang was an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, and an Honorary Lecturer\/Research Fellow with the University of Queensland, Australia. From April 2022 to July 2023, she also was a JSPS Research Fellow with the University of Tokyo, Japan, researching healthcare access and social vulnerability in the post-COVID Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Wang\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u8208\u8da3\u5305\u62ec\u5730\u7406\u8cc7\u8a0a\u79d1\u5b78\u3001\u6642\u7a7a\u5927\u6578\u64da\u5206\u6790\u3001\u8cc7\u8a0a\u5316\u793e\u6703\u79d1\u5b78\u3001\u6578\u4f4d\u5065\u5eb7\u5730\u7406\u5b78\u3001\u4eba\u672c\u5730\u7406\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u6167\u3001\u4eba\u985e\u79fb\u52d5\u8207\u9077\u79fb\u3001\u667a\u6167\u57ce\u5e02\u53ca\u4eba\u985e\u8207\u6c23\u5019\u7684\u4ea4\u4e92\u4f5c\u7528\u7b49\u9818\u57df\uff0c\u4e26\u5728\u9019\u4e9b\u9818\u57df\u767c\u8868\u4e86\u8c50\u78a9\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5979\u65bc2024\u5e74\u88ab\u300aGeospatial World\u300b\u8a55\u9078\u70ba\u5730\u7406\u7a7a\u9593\u9818\u57df\u768450\u4f4d\u660e\u65e5\u4e4b\u661f\u4e4b\u4e00\u30022021\u5e74\uff0cDr. Wang\u4ee5\u5171\u540c\u7b2c\u4e00\u4f5c\u8005\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u767c\u8868\u4e86\u4e00\u7bc7\u95dc\u65bc\u4eba\u985e\u79fb\u52d5\u8207COVID-19\u50b3\u64ad\u7684\u8ad6\u6587\uff0c\u8a72\u8ad6\u6587\u65bc2022\u5e74\u69ae\u7372\u300aAnnals of GIS\u300b\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u8ad6\u6587\u734e\uff0c\u4e26\u6210\u70ba2023\u5e74\u4e0b\u8f09\u6b21\u6578\u6700\u591a\u7684\u8ad6\u6587\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5979\u7684\u5c08\u696d\u8077\u8cac\u5305\u62ec\u64d4\u4efb\u96b8\u5c6c\u65bc\u54c8\u4f5b\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u7a7a\u9593\u6578\u64da\u5be6\u9a57\u5ba4\u7684\u526f\u4e3b\u4efb\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u570b\u969b\u6578\u5b57\u5730\u7403\u5b78\u6703 (International Society for Digital Earth) \u5275\u65b0\u7db2\u7d61\u6578\u4f4d\u5730\u7403 (Innovation Network for Digital Earth) \u9752\u5e74\u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u526f\u4e3b\u5e2d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u52a0\u5165\u5357\u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b78\u7a7a\u9593\u79d1\u5b78\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u4e4b\u524d\uff0cDr. Wang\u66fe\u64d4\u4efb\u6fb3\u6d32\u7687\u5bb6\u58a8\u723e\u672c\u7406\u5de5\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u517c\u4efb\u9ad8\u7d1a\u8b1b\u5e2b\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u6606\u58eb\u862d\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u69ae\u8b7d\u8b1b\u5e2b\u8207\u7814\u7a76\u54e1\u30022022\u5e744\u6708\u81f32023\u5e747\u6708\u671f\u9593\uff0c\u5979\u4ea6\u4f5c\u70ba\u6771\u4eac\u5927\u5b78\u65e5\u672c\u5b78\u8853\u632f\u8208\u6703\uff08JSPS\uff09\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u54e1\uff0c\u7814\u7a76\u65e5\u672cCOVID\u5f8c\u75ab\u60c5\u6642\u4ee3\u5065\u5eb7\u7167\u8b77\u8207\u793e\u6703\u8106\u5f31\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
