Introduction / 簡介
Prof. Sun Sun Lim is the Vice President and Lee Kong Chian Professor of Communication and Technology at the Singapore Management University. She has extensively researched the social impact of technology, focusing on technology domestication by families, future of work and AI ethics. As a prolific scholar, she has over 100 academic publications. Her articles have been published in top journals such as Nature, Big Data & Society, etc. From 2018-2020, she was Nominated Member of the 13th Parliament of Singapore, raising issues such as governance of the use of big data, priorities in digital literacy education, and digital rights for children. She frequently offers her expert commentary in international outlets including Wall Street Journal, New York Times and writes a monthly technology column in Singapore’s largest circulation broadsheet, The Straits Times.
林姍姍教授現任新加坡管理大學副校長，並擔任李光前傳播與科技講座教授。她長期深入研究科技對社會產生的影響，並著重於家庭的科技「馴化」、未來的勞動型態以及 AI 倫理。作為一名多產的學者，她已發表超過 100 篇學術著作，並經常被刊登於《自然》、《大數據與社會》等國際期刊。2018至2020年間，林教授受委任為新加坡第 13 屆國會議員，針對大數據使用的治理、數位素養教育的權衡，以及兒童的數位權利等議題提出建言。她也經常受邀在《華爾街日報》、《紐約時報》等國際媒體發表專家評論，並在新加坡發行量最大的報紙《海峽時報》撰寫每月科技專欄。
