Dr. Yang Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Her research focuses on insect systematics, taxonomy, and pest control, with specific expertise in the phylogeny and diversity of leafhoppers (Empoascini) and tumbling flower beetles (Mordellidae). He integrates traditional morphology with modern molecular techniques, such as DNA barcoding, to address pest management challenges in agriculture and forestry.
