Introduction / 簡介
I am currently Associate Professor in Transport Engineering – Resilient Transportation based in the School of Civil Engineering and Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds in the U.K., specialised in transport modelling. I received my MSc(Eng) in Transport Planning and Engineering from University of Leeds in 1993 and PhD from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004. My PhD thesis was on ‘Strategic Gaming Analysis of Competitive Transportation Services’.
I have had an over 20-year career in transport planning, with substantial experience not only in academia but also in the transport industry. My work experience in the industry includes one year in Auckland and 12 years in Hong Kong with a number of companies in both the private and public sectors, with eight years specialising in modelling and planning for transportation systems.
Since I arrived in New Zealand in 2004 to take up a lecturer position at the University of Auckland, I have developed a strong research interest in integrating land use, transport, air quality modelling and health impact analysis. In recent years, since I joined the University of Leeds in 2013, I have made significant progress on the theoretical development in multi-objective optimisation and its potential application in comprehensive resilience analysis of transportation systems.

王猶弟教授目前是英國利茲大學土木工程學院和交通研究所的交通工程副教授，專攻交通模型的韌性交通。她於1993年在利茲大學獲得交通規劃與工程碩士學位（MSc(Eng)），並於2004年在香港科技大學獲得博士學位。她的博士論文主題是「競爭性交通服務的策略分析」。
王教授在交通規劃領域擁有超過20年的職業生涯，不僅在學術界有豐富經驗，也在交通產業中擔任重要角色。她的行業經驗包括在奧克蘭工作一年，以及在香港多家私營和公營部門的公司工作12年，其中八年專注於交通系統的模擬與規劃。
自2004年抵達新西蘭，就職於奧克蘭大學擔任講師以來，她開始對整合土地使用、交通、空氣質量模擬和健康影響分析產生了濃厚的研究興趣。近年來，自2013年加入利茲大學以來，她在多目標優化的理論發展方面取得了顯著進展，並探索其在交通系統全面韌性分析中的潛在應用。
