Introduction / 簡介
Dr. Chao (Amanda) Shi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University, where she directs the Human-Centered Visual Behavior Lab. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Factors from Pennsylvania State University and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Wuhan University. Her research focusses on the intersection of cognitive psychology and engineering, focusing on optimizing human-system interactions through the study of visual behavior, situation awareness. Dr. Shi’s work is highly interdisciplinary, notably applying autonomous driving technologies and virtual reality to healthcare challenges.
