Introduction / 簡介

Dr. ZHAI Shixian received her Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment in 2019 from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). She was a joint Ph.D. candidate between NUIST and Harvard University before she worked as a postdoc and then as a research associate at Harvard University from 2019 to 2023. Starting in May 2023, Dr. ZHAI works as a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Environment and Sustainability at HKUST and is concurrently a Junior Fellow in the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study. Dr. ZHAI’s research includes atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, and nutrient and carbon cycles.

翟世賢博士於2019年取得南京信息工程大學（NUIST）大氣物理與大氣環境博士學位。博士期間，她為南京信息工程大學與哈佛大學的雙聯博士生。取得博士學位後，曾於哈佛大學擔任博士後研究員及研究助理。自2023年5月起，翟博士任職於香港科技大學（HKUST）環境及可持續發展學部，擔任研究助理教授，並同時為香港科技大學賽馬會高等研究院初級研究員。翟博士的研究範疇包含大氣化學、空氣汙染以及營養循環和碳循環。
