Introduction / 簡介

Ying Wang received bachelor’s degree in physics at Nanjing University China 2012, and Ph.D. in Applied Science and Technology from the University of California at Berkley in 2018. Since 2020, she is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the UW-Madison. Her research interests cover novel 2d/quantum materials’ characterization to nanodevices’ development for energy and information technologies. She is the recipient of Golden graduate student award at the Material Research Society (2018).

2D/quantum material physics and their device applications including advanced optoelectronics and information storage. And the exploration on quantum behaviors in such material systems can potentially extend current information technology beyond classic limit. Currently looking for graduate students/postdoc/undergraduates who are interested in 2d /quantum materials characterization, nano device design and fabrication.
